Postmates

2020-21

A food-delivery service. The launch and continuation of the “When All You Can Food is Think About” brand platform. It was awarded at Cannes, D&AD, The One Show, and more. In 2021, a year after the campaign launched, for completely unrelated reasons, Uber bought Postmates for 2.6 billion dollars.

Bijan Mustardson

2022-24

Launching the gourmet dijon mustard of college football running back Bijan Robinson. After the Supreme Court ruled that college athletes could finally profit off their own name, image, and likeness. Featured nationally on ESPN, Bleacher Report, Fox Sports, Eater, and more. The brand hosted a speaking panel at the SXSW in 2023 called “Bijan Mustardson and the Future of NIL Partnerships”. Shortlisted at D&AD and The One Show. Currently scaling nationwide.

Carl's Jr.

2024

Wikipedia defines “hamburger” as “a food consisting of a patty of meat placed inside a sliced bun, often with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion.” But Carl’s Jr. puts onion rings and tater tots and jalapeno poppers on their burgers. If you’re reading this, can you reach out to Wikipedia and ask them to add those things to their definition? I would reach out myself, but I’m currently sleeping and/or working.

Little Caesars

2018-19

“Taxes” :15 [Open on a dad and his son at the counter of a Little Caesars.] Dad: “Nothing is certain in life son, except death and when you walk into a Little Caesars there’ll be a 5-dollar Hot-N-Ready pizza for you.” Son: “What about taxes?” [2 IRS agents walk in.] IRS Agent: “We’re from the IRS.” Dad: “I forgot taxes!” SUPER/VO: Little Caesars SUPER/VO: Pizza! Pizza!

Buff City Soap

2023

A retail chain with over 270 locations across the country. They make soaps, like hand soap, bar soap, laundry soap, and soap whip. But they also make not-soaps, like candles, dryer balls, bath bombs. beard oil, body scrub, and shower fizzies. And the last time I checked, candles aren’t soap. Things may have changed though. It’s been months since I performed that Google search.

Ranch Rider

2022

A western-themed canned cocktail brand. But it’s not the tough and serious type of western. It’s more of the off-kilter and approachable type. Calling it dumb would be fitting. Stupid would be accurate too. Not the product though. The product is not dumb or stupid at all, I swear. Oh man. Please don’t tell the owners of Ranch Rider I said all this.

Sonic

2020

It’s technically called Sonic Drive-In. They probably didn’t go with just “Sonic” to avoid being confused with the hedgehog or the late basketball organization from Seattle. Either that, or because the whole company is based on the model of driving into a parking bay and eating in your car. Hard to say which reason it was. I imagine the Hedgehog’s lawyers would be intimidating in a trademark battle though.

PBR aka Pabst Blue Ribbon

2022

PBR aka Pabst Blue Ribbon is an American lager beer established in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1844. It’s a beer with notes of beer, and hints of beer. And fortunately for PBR aka Pabst Blue Ribbon, people like beer. Can you imagine if PBR aka Pabst Blue Ribbon had gotten into the radish business instead? Radishes have nothing on beer. Turns out it was a good call by PBR aka Pabst Blue Ribbon, deciding to sell beer.

Clash of Clans

2019

Mobile game from Finnish game company Supercell. If I had to choose a favorite character, I’m not sure which one I’d pick. If I really had to choose though, I think I’d actually be undecided again. I’m not sure who exactly is forcing me to choose, but they’re not doing a great job at enforcing it. UPDATE: Hog Rider is my favorite character. I’m not sure why that took me so long. UPDATE 2: This video has 31 million views.
